Motion should serve purpose, not decoration.

Motion in digital design isn’t decoration — it’s communication.
The way a button responds, how a section fades in, or how a layout transitions between states all tell the user how to interact and what to expect.
Meaningful motion has direction and purpose. It builds rhythm, hierarchy, and emotional tone. The best animations are invisible — they guide attention without stealing it.
When done right, motion adds depth to static design. It creates a sense of continuity, like a story unfolding frame by frame. Even a small easing curve can make an interface feel alive and intentional.
The challenge isn’t how to animate more — it’s how to animate better.
